1 Dec 2019: Time for a new adventure!
Together with Alaloes Object & Interieur I have recently been making preparations for a POP UP Store. In a beautiful building in the center of Den Bosch we have set up a temporary shop where my art and the design objects of Alaloes come together fantastically.
Friday 29 November we had our opening, see the photos for an impression of this evening. We are very proud of our POP UP Store. Over the next two months, we have created a beautiful, accessible gallery and shop here, which will greatly increase our visibility.
From now on we are open!
In my paintings I process a lot of old books, photos and paper, my Limited Edition Prints are based on photos from the 50s, I also often use antique frames. Anneloes reupholstered antique chairs, made new shades for antique lamps and combined this with beautiful objects such as Juju’s (ceremonial feather dress from Cameroon), unique bronze statues and antique handwoven kilims.
We knew in advance that it would complement each other well, but during the setup we got e when we saw how magical the combination is!
New in the POP UP Store is the round version of the series I’m with the girls with a diameter of 108cm. This is printed on Hahnemuhle paper, pasted on 3mm dibond and processed again by hand and therefore unique.
